 Kefir Ranch Dressing

 Kefir Ranch Dressing

Delicious Ranch Dressing you can feel good about! I've been making kefir at home for over a month now and I'm hooked.

I had some great grilled chicken leftover and my garden is producing in spades so it was definitely time for a big salad at our house.

This dressing was perfect. Creamy, tangy, salty with a nice bite from the pepper. Just like the original Ranch but with so much more going for it. Kefir is full of great gut healing and digestive helping bacteria just like yogurt. It's also nearly lactose free which can be really helpful for some.

If you've never heard about this ancient super food, it's a dairy product that is very similar to yogurt that ferments rapidly and easily on your kitchen counter. To learn more about how easy it is to ferment kefir, click over to my post on How to ferment kefir and make kefir cream cheese.

I've discovered that other than drinking kefir, there are a crazy number of ways to use this tasty stuff. Making kefir cream cheese was a no brainer. Once I had some kefir cream cheese, I made this dressing with some of it.

It's so good!

So why not just use yogurt instead of kefir?

I've learned that Kefir is much easier to make than yogurt through personal practice and it can have 2 to 3 times the amount of cultures than yogurt making it a real powerhouse.
