Last year my husband and I found ourselves traveling on Valentine's Day for business so as my Superman always does for special days like this, he set himself to the task of finding a wonderful restaurant he could take me too. He's very good at finding unique and fun experiences!
Last Valentines Day was very special. We had a remarkable evening in downtown Salem, Oregon at DaVinci Restaurante. The bar is gorgoeus! We had a cocktail there before dinner since we had arrived just a touch early for our reservation. Reservations are a must especially if you have a large party or it happens to be a holiday.
We were seated quickly at a table on the mezzanine overlooking the bar and the entry where a great jazz trio was playing. Click on the video below to listen in on the atmosphere. I wish I had taken a business card from them to remind me of their names. It's sad I can't mention them here. They were very good!
Dinner was excellent and they have an extensive wine list. From appetizers to salads, entree's and desert we enjoyed ourselves immensely! Thank you for such a wonderful night out!
We both highly recommend this lovely restaurant for an upscale evening out or for lunch. There is an amazing ceiling with lots of glass that probably lights this restaurant in a very beautiful way during daylight hours.
